TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SECTION A - REPAIRS UNDER WARRANTY
1. Manufacturer’s Warranty: Repairs under warranty are provided free of charge, in accordance with the manufacturer’s limited warranty terms.
2. Loan Phones: The warranty does not cover the loss of use. There is no obligation to provide loan phones.
3. Warranty Voidance: The warranty becomes void in cases of moisture damage, physical damage, viruses, software corruption caused by third-party applications, unauthorized repairs, or any tampering with the phone or its accessories by the user. These issues are only apparent when the unit is inspected and opened. If such issues are discovered, the unit will be returned without being repaired, and a labor fee of P75.00 (VAT included) will be charged.
4. Out-of-Warranty Repairs: If the customer opts for out-of-warranty repairs, the conditions in Section B will apply.
SECTION B - CHARGES FOR INSPECTION AND REPAIRS OUT OF WARRANTY
1. Moisture Damage: We do not repair moisture-damaged phones.
2. Previously Unauthorized Repairs: Handsets subjected to previously unauthorized repairs will first undergo inspection, after which repairs may be carried out at our discretion. A minimum inspection/labor fee will be charged as outlined below.
3. Labor Fees: A minimum labor charge of P75.00 (VAT included) applies for:
- Out-of-warranty repairs,
- Rejected quotes,
- Units determined to be beyond economical repair (BER).
4. Repair Authorization: Repairs estimated to exceed P350.00 (VAT included) require written authorization from the customer before proceeding. Repairs costing less than P350.00 (VAT included) will be performed without prior confirmation from the customer.
SECTION C - RISKS DISCLAIMER
1. Data Loss: While we will take all possible measures to preserve the information stored on the handset, there is a risk of data loss during the repair process. Customers are advised to back up their data before submitting the handset. Cellphone Warehouse and its business partners will not be held responsible for lost data, SIM cards, or accessories.
2. Risk of Loss: All handsets are accepted for repair at the customer’s risk. Although every effort is made to ensure the safety of devices, Cellphone Warehouse will not be held liable for any loss.
SECTION D - TURNAROUND TIMES AND COLLECTION
1. Average Turnaround Time: The standard repair turnaround time is approximately 3 days.
2. Collection Confirmation: On or after the estimated collection date indicated on the job card, customers should call to confirm if the phone is ready for collection. We will make every effort to keep customers updated on the repair status.
3. Unforeseen Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control.
4. Uncollected Repairs: Phones that remain uncollected beyond the time allowed will incur a storage fee of P50.00 before being sold to cover expenses.
SECTION E - PAYMENT MODE
Payments are accepted in cash or by credit card only. Cheques are not accepted.
SECTION F - RELEASE OF PHONES
Phones will only be released upon presentation of the job card and a valid form of identification.
SECTION G - VALIDITY OF ESTIMATES
1. Estimate Validity: Estimates are valid for 1 week.
2. Written Estimates: We do not provide written estimates for repairs costing less than P350.00.
SECTION H - WARRANTY ON REPAIRS
Repairs are covered by a 90-day warranty against defective workmanship or part failures related to the original defect. The warranty is voided in cases of physical or moisture damage.
SECTION I - RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY - FAULTY PRODUCTS
1. Faulty Products: Phones returned with a claim of malfunction will undergo testing by the technical department within 2 working days. If the technical report indicates a fault that voids the warranty, the customer will be notified of the repair costs. If the report confirms a manufacturing defect, assistance will be provided in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
2. Warranty Claims: Cellphone Warehouse will only accept warranty claims if a technical evaluation confirms a manufacturing defect and the store is notified within 3 working days of purchase.
SECTION J - RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY - UNSATISFIED WITH PRODUCT
- Product Exchange: Products may be exchanged within 7 days of purchase if the customer is unsatisfied, provided that:
- The device and its accessories are unused and in their original packaging.
- A handling fee of 20% will be charged for the exchange.
